The Gaelteacht I went to was called Colaiste Lurgan, and it's in Connemara in Galway, a good 2 or 3 hour drive from where I live in Portlaoise. In the Gaelteacht, you and some other lads (or girls) stay in an Irish speaking person's house (called the Bean an Ti or Fear an Ti, which means woman or man of the house) and they cook for you and you sleep there. Then during the day you go to the colaiste, where you do Irish classes and activities and stuff.
Anyway, I'm bored of explaining stuff. Lemme tell you about some of the guys who were in my house.
I went to the Gaelteacht with my 2 friends, Fionn and Donal. We ended up in the same house, which was good, and me and Donal were in the same class (Whooooo, Macdara, an rang is fearr!) and we made loadsa new friends too. Lemme introduce you to some of the lads in my house:
Seimi: Seimi was probably the soundest lad in my house. He was unreal funny and he loved the Portlaoise accent. He was from Dublin, like everybody else in our house apart from me, Fionn and Donal. There was so much Dubliners at Lurgan! Me and Donal were 2 of about 3 or 4 people not from Dublin in our class. Anyway, back to Seimi: He always lost whenever we played Spoons. Ah, that was funny.
Tom: Tom was the biggest Legend ever in my house, and one of my room mates. He was the funniest, and he was crazy. And I don't mean like one of those lads who pretends to be crazy to get attention or to be funny, he was actually crazy. Anything he did was funny, but he'd be laughing with us, not just us laughing at him.
Except when we stole his sweets.
Uh, not that I ever stole your sweets, Tom, it was the other guys, I swear.
Peter (aka Peader): He was the cockiest of the bunch, in a good way, 'cos he was kinda full of himself but still unreal sound to everyone, including me. He always made a mess at dinner ('Peadar's Messes') and looked kinda like Justin Bieber. Oh, speaking of JBeebz, this one time in the Gaelteacht someone got a poster of him and stuck it up in the boy's toilets. It was completely defaced by the end of the day, with nazi signs and moustaches and speech bubbles saying stuff like " Is brea liom buachailli". Good times, good times.
Ronan: Ronan was my other room mate, but I didn't know him as well as I knew Tom. He was the most serious about Irish, he goes to an Irish secondrary school and speaks Irish with his parents. He also loves Mumford and Sons, and you can't blame him. They're unreal!
Everyone Else: A right bunch o' mad scones.

BACK FROM THE GAELTEACHT!!!!
HEY GUYS!!!!
WHOOOOOOOOOOOOH!!! I just got back from the Gaelteacht!
For those of you who don't live in Ireland, I'll explain what the Gaelteacht is. It's like a giant summer camp kinda thing that you stay at for 3 weeks, but you're not allowed to talk English, only Irish. And it is the MOST. FUN. EVER. To see the kind of stuff we did, check out this video: http://vimeo.com/12891535
I have to go now, but I'll write more stuff about it soon.

Air hair lair.
That's how English people say hello.
So today I'm going to talk about.............. NOTHING IN PARTICULAR! YAY!
The common Nothing In Particular beast lives in most blogs written by 14 year olds who are bored. This is one of those. Isn't it amazing to see one in it's natural habitat?
Also the name Jimmy no longer means anything to me. I am...... ACTION FIGHTER!!!
